About this sitter

I am a kind, sincere, quiet and a considerate person. I am in my late 30s and will be solo on assignments. I have 15 years of experience (concierge to management) in hospitality and vacation home management. I house sit like I would care for the luxury hospitality properties with thoughtfulness, cleanliness, respectfulness and overall priority of your home. As a work-from-home caretaker I will be there to care for your pets and also mind your home while you are away.

I am looking for a sit where I can work remotely as well as provide calm, loving company for your pets. While I absolutely love to explore new places, my main focus during a sit is on caring for your home and your four legged family member(s) so they are secure and happy until your return. I am available for short and long term stays.

Why they want to house sit

I want to house sit because it's an excellent alignment of my love to travel, caring for property and love of animals. House sitting is the perfect way for me to shower your pets with attention while exploring different places. It's a win-win: I get to experience time with your furry family member and a quiet place to work and you get peace of mind that your home is being cared for by someone responsible and present.

I have several housesitting gigs over the past few years and have enjoyed the experience in rural and city settings.

With homes: I managed vacation homes for several years. I understand the trust it takes to hand over your keys. I know how to spot a leaky faucet early, how to keep a space, and—most importantly—how to leave a home exactly as it was found.

With animals: I was brought up in a rural mountain home in northern New Mexico (U.S.) where animals were always an integral part of lives. I've cared for animals of all personalities and temperaments—shy, anxious, senior, energetic, and everything in between. I'm very attuned to reading animal body language and respecting their needs.

What can they bring to the assignment

First of all, presence. I work from home and will be there most of the day so your pets will not be alone for long periods.

Second, hospitality standards. With over 15 years of hospitality and property management experience I will treat your home like a luxury boutique hotel (only cozier‚ with more belly rubs).

With the confident dog who runs the house and the shy cat who hides under the bed, I meet all pet personalities where they are with patience and kindness.
