About this sitter
Hi! my name is Elii, I am a young professional from Australia. I've recently made the move over to London to work in the same timezone as my UK clients.
Because I am often changing cities it's not reasonable for me to keep a pet. I'd love to take care of your pets in the meantime if you'd see me fit.
Why they want to house sit
I really do love the company of animals especially walking and playing with dogs and cats alike. I have in recent times missed this (sadly they cannot live forever) and would love to spend some time with your fur babies. As I work from home, house and pet sitting gives me a great chance to see new places and meet cute animals.
I have loads of experience with all types of pets (kittens, turtles, elderly dogs you name it) and I grew up volunteering at the animal shelter every weekend when I was a boy as well as having pets of my own until recently.

I have loads of experience with all types of pets (kittens, turtles, elderly dogs you name it), farm animals, homes and gardens and I have always received positive feedback. I grew up volunteering at the animal shelter as a kid as well as working on the farm and having pets of my own until recently.

Welcome to sit again
Elii looked after Finn, Luna and our flat superbly! Finn has some separation anxiety, and Elii handled it admirably, checking in with us to ensure he was meeting Finn's needs. We came home to an insanely clean flat and happy contented fur babies. He'd be welcome to sit for us again!

Second time

Reliable and organised

Definitely recommend
Elii looked after our cat Ginny, our home and plants superbly. He is positive, communicates well and does so with good humour. We agreed a daily cadence for sending photos and messages and Elii was good to his word. He thinks around problems to find solutions e.g. he came the night before to collect keys but his phone ran out of battery on the way here, he knocked on a door of someone in our street to call me and kept our appointment. This made for a calm departure as the walk-through was done the evening before. The plants were watered during a very hot spell and the house was beautifully tidy and clean on our arrival home. Ginny was well looked after by Elii and was happy when we got home. We definitely recommend Elii for a pet/ house sit.

Absolutely fantastic
Eliu was absolutely fantastic! He looked after our flat and animals with so much care and attention. He kept in touch throughout our time away, which gave us real peace of mind, and we came home to a spotless flat. Most impressively, he managed to walk our nervous rescue dog every day with no issues—something not everyone can do! Both our cat and dog adored him. We would highly recommend Eliu to anyone and would gladly welcome him back anytime.

Elii took great care
Elii took great care of our saluki Reno. He clearly loves animals and was able to get on with Reno from the first interaction, despite him being quite a nervous dog. Elii had no issues administering medication and following instructions on protecting some furniture due to Reno’s separation anxiety. We came back to a very clean house and got regular updates and photos.

Polite
Elii is polite, personable, and really interesting to chat with. Our dog, Chess, can be reactive to large, noisy vehicles, and Elii turned up the day before we left and walked with me and Chess to learn how to deal with him. I felt he really listened to me and wanted to do his best for Chess - he definitely likes animals. When we were away, Elii sent regular updates and reviews for every walk, even when he was poorly. Genuinely cares about animals.
Elii looked after our cat Chloupek for a few weeks, and the two of them got on really well. As Chloupek is 15 years old, he needs a bit of extra attention to ensure he eats enough and gets his supplements. Elii was kind and attentive, took notes to follow Chloupek’s usual routine, and brushed him regularly. He also looked after the house well, and we returned to a content and well-cared-for cat. The reason for 4 stars is due to a communication issue. When arranging the sit, we agreed on daily updates - particularly important as Chloupek had recently started taking pain medication. Unfortunately, the updates were inconsistent, even after I followed up to ask for daily check-ins. While this might not be a concern for everyone, we like to hear how Chloupek is every day for our peace of mind, especially during a longer trip. That said, Elii is a thoughtful sitter who was attentive to Chloupek, and it is clear he genuinely cares about animals.

Super easy to deal with
Elii was super easy to deal with, was flexible when we needed to change times, turned up on time and immediately got on with our dog Toby. He left the house sparkling, and Toby was very well looked after. We absolutely recommend Elii, and would certainly leave our home and pets with him again.
