About this sitter
We're Christine and Jordan, a couple who've been together 17 years and have been living and traveling full-time since 2020. What started as a leap of faith in Colorado Springs turned into a life of liveaboard sailing, international moves, and eventually a deep love of house and pet sitting as a way to slow down, put down temporary roots, and genuinely care for animals and homes as if they were our own.
We've had the joy of caring for a wonderful range of animals over the years — from Duncan and Ruby, a pair of spirited Gordon Setters in Todos Santos, Mexico, to June, a tiny but mighty Chihuahua mix in the Vermont countryside. Most recently we've been happily settled in Albrighton, Shropshire with Trixie and Buddy, and they've been wonderful companions. Each sit has left us with lasting memories.
Before we became full-time travelers, we were long-time pet owners ourselves, with a deep understanding of what it means to love an animal and trust someone else with their care. That's something we take seriously. Pets aren't a responsibility to manage — they're family to keep company.
We're calm, tidy, communicative, and genuinely love the animals in our care. We treat every home as our own and every pet as family we're thrilled to spend time with.

We've have previously had our own dogs, cats and chickens. We've been pet sitting through Trusted House Sitters for over a year.
What can they bring to the assignment
We both enjoy caring for animals. Jordan has more experience with animal medications, including intravenous medicine. Christine is the queen of cuddling. We're both pretty handy around the house. We own an older home in Colorado.

Fantastic
Christine and Jordan stayed with our pets for two months and they were fantastic! We loved getting the wonderful photos of all their hiking adventures with June Bug. Absolutely fantastic
Christine and her partner Jordan were absolutely fantastic. I can't say enough about how great they were with our two Gordon Setters, Ruby -9 years old and Duncan-18 months old. Several weeks before they arrive, Duncan was neutered and there were complications that required us to apply raw sugar to his testicles several times a day to reduce the swelling. We let Christine and Jordan know that while we hoped we would have the situation resolved before they came, they might have to take over for a day or two. Their response was immediate and afirmative. Talk about going above and beyond! During our 9 week absence, we received timely updates with photos of the dogs. When we returned, our house was spotless, sheets and towels washed. The dogs clearly loved them, which is really important to us. We would have them back in a heart beat.

Relaxed and reliable
Christine and Jordan are both relaxed and reliable. They love animals and know how care for them and train them. Christine was always quick to respond and take care of anything that needed to be done. Communication was great. She was always proactive which took the worry away from us. She was attentive to medication, vet visits and getting food for the dogs along with anything else that needed to be done. We feel very lucky to have had them taking care of our animals and home!
