About this sitter

We are a married couple and are both 56 years old. We have traveled many countries and enjoy the summer season a lot. We live in The Netherlands and have a rich working career behind us, recently we decided to retire from our busy jobs and spend more time in southern Europe. We love Spain a lot and spend already quite some time in the Costa Blanca area. We are active people and enjoy the general tasks around the house. We love animals and the care for them, we have had animals all our lives, mainly cats but also rabbits and a hamster. We currently have a cat which is a bit older, and enjoying his live with us. We have an adult daughter living with us she will take care of our cat when we are enjoying live elsewhere.

Why they want to house sit

We would like to house sit to spend time in another warmer climate, while taking care of animals, we very much like cats, dogs and chickens, goats.

Their experience

We are not experienced in house sitting but have experience in taking care of our own house and a rental property.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are both very active people and like to be productive, we have a lot of building experience after building our own house and renovating an apartment from scratch. We like to enjoy nature and a quiet surrounding, but some hard work once in a while is fine with us.
