House and Pet Friendly Retirees

About this sitter

We are a British couple in our early seventies. We currently live in Central Portugal where we have renovated an old farmhouse in a small village. Prior to this we have lived in Australia, Belgium and the UK. We both love travelling and seeing new places.
During our time in Australia we had several much loved cats and a beautiful Springer Spaniel plus the obligatory rabbit and guinea pigs.
We both love animals but do not have any at present. I am currently teaching English in Portugal and my husband cooks and looks after the garden and fruit and olive trees. He is a very keen gardener.

Why they want to house sit

We love to travel and visit new places and to revisit places we have enjoyed. House sitting is an ideal way to do this. In addition we love animals but do not currently have our own.
