My name is Meredith Harmon, and my partner Jacob Perdue and I are final-year university students with experience in farm and animal care. We’ve both grown up with dogs. As students, we haven’t had many chances to travel, so we’re excited for whats next!

About this sitter

We are a responsible, detail-oriented couple currently in our final year of school. We are looking for house-sitting opportunities that allow us to travel while providing reliable care for someone’s home and pets. We take pride in being very clean, organized, and respectful of other people’s spaces, and we treat every home as if it were our own.

Why they want to house sit

We’re interested in house sitting because, as students, we haven’t had many chances to travel yet, and this gives us the opportunity to go somewhere new. We’re excited about the change of scenery and the chance to spend time somewhere different for a bit. We also really enjoy being around animals, and both enjoy agriculture studies so getting to care for pets while we’re there is something we genuinely look forward to.

Yes, we both have strong experience with animals and property care. I have worked on three large farms, where I gained hands-on experience caring for animals and maintaining responsibilities daily. In addition, we have both grown up with dogs and are very comfortable handling pets of different sizes and personalities.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring reliability, cleanliness, and a strong work ethic. We are extremely tidy (you can expect your home to be just as clean—if not cleaner—when you return), and we follow instructions carefully. We are attentive to pets’ needs, consistent with routines, and quick to communicate if needed. Most importantly, we bring peace of mind—you can trust that your home and animals will be well cared for.
