About this sitter
Hi everyone! I'm Sean, I'm born and raised in Sydney, Australia (also an Irish/EU citizen) and I'm very interested in housesitting across Europe this year. I'm also very opening to housesitting in the wider Liverpool area.
I spent the last few years working at a university library in Sydney since graduating, and I'm currently building my portfolio as a freelance videographer.
Why they want to house sit
I would love to explore and experience different parts of Europe while I am living here. I also have a love of cats from my childhood and enjoy spending time with them while housesitting.
Their experience
I have many years of caring for cats in my own household (feeding, cleaning up after etc.), and have experience with catsitting for others since signing up for Mind My House.
What can they bring to the assignment
I have a strong care for, and understanding of cats through my many years of owning them. I am also very interested in engaging with the local culture of wherever I am staying, and being respectful to neighbours and the local community.

Friendly, responsible house sitter
Sean took care of our two cats while we were away for 2 weeks. Sean is friendly, responsible and a good communicator. He kept in touch with us and gave us regular updates. We were worried about one of the cats because she is very anxious, but we were relieved to see her relaxed around him. At the end, he cleaned the flat and washed the sheets and towels. Thank you very much and we would be happy to have Sean housesit for us again!

An Aussie in Seevetal
We had such a lovely experience with Sean, our Aussie sitter (who surprisingly lived very close by) Even though he is still quite new on this platform, he was absolutely worth the try from the very beginning. Sean took wonderful care of our home and animals and handled everything exactly as needed. We could tell that he genuinely cared, and it gave us great peace of mind while we were away. Coming home to happy animals and a well-looked-after house was the best feeling. We truly wish Sean all the very best on his journey exploring the world, discovering new homes, meeting wonderful animals, and collecting many great experiences along the way.
