About this sitter
We are a semi retired couple who have a business interest in Scotland which we manage remotely. We are looking to house sit in different parts of the world where we can experience local life and enjoy company of pets and animals wherever.
Why they want to house sit
We want to have a lifestyle that is about connecting with local areas and support a community in different ways - be it buying bread at a village bakery or community litter picks. We like to get to know different animals and develop our understanding of unique personalities

Amazing house sitters
Ivan and Lisa are amazing house sitters. They were very good at communicating every step of the way. The dogs bonded with them straight away so we had a very relaxing holiday knowing the dogs were happy and the house was in good hands.

Absolutely amazing
Thank you Ivan and Lisa. We couldn’t have asked for better house sitters. They stayed for a full month and were absolutely amazing with our animals, especially our anxious one during fireworks over new year. They really took the time to get to know our fur babies - Their care, patience, and understanding meant so much to us. The communication was excellent throughout, giving us complete peace of mind, and they truly went above and beyond in every way. We came home to a house that was left absolutely perfect. We are so grateful for everything and honestly can’t thank them enough and would recommend them without hesitation.

A lovely, friendly couple
Ivan & Lisa are a lovely, friendly couple and did a wonderful job of looking after our house and cat while we were away. They were both very relaxed and reassuring, and sent over plenty of photos and checked in with us over the two weeks they were here. We highly recommend them!

Warm, friendly and kind
We consider ourselves hugely lucky to have had Ivan and Lisa look after our house and 2 Dachshunds over the past 2 weeks. They are absolutely lovely people - warm, friendly and kind and we returned to a pristinely clean house and 2 very contented and happy dogs. They even went to visit my elderly Mother which is way above and beyond and I’m so grateful for that. They have a genuine love of animals and a calm and reassuring manner and this was apparent from the very moment we met - we went off on holiday without worrying. We had lots of updates - and we knew all was well at home. If you have the chance to ask them to sit for you - grab them - we are already trying to do that!! In safe hands
This was our first time using house sitters and although we were nervous we really didn't need to be as Ivan and Lisa quickly put us at ease on the first visit. We were felt that our house and most importantly Jet were in very safe hands. It was lovely to go away on holiday feeling so reassured that everything was being so well looked after. We really did feel like Ivan and Lisa were friends by the time we returned and it was a privilidge to get to know them and learn about their exciting travel plans. We would highly reccomend Ivan and Lisa as very trustworthy housesitters and we do hope to stay in touch and see you both again in the not too distant future.

100% recommend
100% recommend Lisa & Ivan! They have now house and dog sat for us twice - the first time in Dec 24 (I messed up and didn't post a review in the allowed time frame or that would have been 5* too). Our dogs LOVED them, and they clearly love our dogs! The house was well kept in our absence and they even sorted a wasp issue for us while we were away. The most important thing is, I totally trust Lisa & Ivan to look after the dogs - our old spaniel would be too confused to go and stay somewhere new, and the other dog is a real home-body, so without this, we simply wouldn't be able to go away. I would not hesitate to ask Lisa & Ivan again - and may even book something around their availability! I wish Lisa & Ivan all the best for their adventures travelling the world!

We were so fortunate to have Ivan & Lisa take care of our Scottie dogs and home for 2 weeks. They really took the stress out of finding sitters, even going out of their way to obtain a disclosure Scotland certificate and were very easy to keep in touch with.
