Hi! I’m Elisabeth. I work remotely, run my own consulting business, and am currently in that weird “figuring out what’s next in life” phase — potentially late-to-the-game law school included.

I’ve always been really good at handling a lot at once. I worked a demanding full-time job while building my business and getting my master’s degree at night, so being responsible, adaptable, organized, and calm under pressure is pretty second nature to me.

I’m also very particular about my space. I like things clean, calm, and taken care of, and I naturally treat other people’s homes the same way. I notice the little things — clutter, dust, routines, whether something feels off — and I genuinely respect the trust that comes with staying in someone’s home. You won’t come back to a mess, unanswered texts, or someone who treated your place like a free Airbnb.

I have a boxer named Bonnie and a staffy rescue named Izzy, so I’m very used to high-energy dogs, routines, anxiety, and strong personalities. I’ve also fostered animals, had cats, ducks, and special-needs pets, and did a lot of babysitting, pet sitting, and house sitting through high school and college. So whether your home comes with plants, pets, or just specific routines you care about, I’m comfortable stepping in and handling it.

I’m easygoing, communicative, and pretty low-maintenance overall. I like quiet mornings, neighborhood walks, exploring new places, and making sure people can leave feeling like everything at home is genuinely handled.

Why they want to house sit

I’m probably the best fit for people who want someone dependable, self-aware, and respectful in their home — someone who understands that trust is a big part of this. I appreciate clear communication, realistic expectations, and homes where people genuinely care about their space and routines.

I’m especially comfortable with busy households, energetic pets, multiple animals, and homes that need someone attentive and organized. I also really enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and getting to experience areas I normally wouldn’t.

At the end of the day, I’m just looking for good mutual fits with people who want to leave home knowing everything is genuinely being taken care of.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring a different level of life experience than a lot of people doing this. I’ve managed teams, built a business, dealt with high-pressure situations, traveled, owned a home, and handled real adult responsibilities for a long time now. So when something needs handled, I handle it.

I also genuinely appreciate the trust behind house sitting. Someone is handing you access to their personal space and daily life, and I don’t take that lightly. And honestly, animals are kind of my security blanket — they calm me.
