Dog lover who enjoys meeting new dogs

About this sitter

We are an older couple who enjoy traveling around the world. We live with our adult daughter, who stays home and takes care of our 8 indoor dogs, and our 4 guardian dogs who live outside and take care of our goats, pigs, and turkey.

Why they want to house sit

We miss our own dogs when we travel. House sitting other dogs allows us to love on other dogs while we are away from ours. It also allows us to extend our travel options while providing dog owners an opportunity to leave home for a short respite.

Their experience

We have had at least one dog for most of the 24 years we have been married. We have not house sat before, but we are used to staying at AirBnB's and treat other people's homes better than even our own.

What can they bring to the assignment

We, unfortunately, cannot do stairs and my husband is allergic to cats so we are limited in that way. We are fairly open otherwise, but we prefer a location that does not require a car.
