About this sitter

My wife, Wendy, and I will be married 26 years this August and have been homeowners for just as long. We currently live in a quiet area of Western Pennsylvania and work as school teachers. We have 2 cats currently but have had other cats, a dog, and fish over the years. We love to be around animals and would happily keep your pets comfortable and happy while you are away.

Why they want to house sit

We want to house sit as a way to experience the world and explore places we may otherwise never have the opportunity to visit. We understand that leaving your home for any extended time can be unnerving, so we offer our attention to meeting the needs of your home while you are away. We also know the challenge of leaving your furrbabies in the care of others when you need to be away, so we hope we can alleviate your anxiety by giving all the care and cuddles these family members deserve.

Their experience

While we are new to the house sitting community, we have been homeowners and pet parents for over 25 years. We have owned 2 houses in that time and are well versed in all that ownership brings from daily upkeep to maintenance and renovation. Having had several pets over the years we are also well versed in meeting the needs of our companions from feeding, to bathing, and care through times of special need.

What can they bring to the assignment

As empty nesters we can't wait to explore the world, and we would love the chance to do it while providing top-notch home care and, whenever possible, spoiling your furrbabies! We are highly educated, experienced in all that home and pet care requires, and excited to travel to new destinations.
