About this sitter

We're recent empty nesters in our early 50s, and we're looking to explore new areas, maybe venture off the beaten path. We love animals (especially cats), and always appreciate lodging with furry friends. We're both quiet with art backgrounds. Josh is a writer. Tina is the green thumb of the pair. We're both quiet and neat and accommodating.

Why they want to house sit

Part of our motives for house sitting include exploring new areas. We'll be retiring soon, and this is a way for us to travel and experience parts of the world that may not be your typical travel destinations.

Their experience

We've not previously done overnight house sits, but we have farm-sat and pet-sat numerous times, looking after cats and horses. In addition to our current menagerie of 3 cats, fish, a pony, and our college-aged daughter's guinea pig, we've also had birds and a turtle in the past.

What can they bring to the assignment

Along with our experience with animals, we're neat, non-smokers and are happy to tend to any gardening or house plants as needed.
