About this sitter

Greetings, I’m an active, retired RN and lifelong animal lover who is in the process of joining a CoHousing community in New Mexico. I have several months (August - Jan) between the end of my lease and when my NM space will be available to move into.

I’m hoping to spend that time somewhere I’ve never been, combining my love for adventure with a sense of purpose. Tending to someone’s home and caring for their animals seems the perfect way to bridge that period of time.

I’m looking for a house sit that feels safe, offers comfortable accommodations and allows for some free time to explore in-between house and/or pet care duties.

Why they want to house sit

Housesitting is a lovely way to both give and receive. Being a part of someone’s home while spending time in a new area is the perfect way to feel connected to place. And being able to spend time with someone’s beloved pet(s) is always a pleasure.

Their experience

I’ve house sat many times, both with pet sitting and without. I’m comfortable with most animals and have experience with dogs, cats, birds, fish and snakes.

What can they bring to the assignment

I’m respectful, kind and compassionate in my dealings with all living beings, and fastidious in caring for others’ property. I’ll bring open, honest communication, self reliance, diligence in caring for your pets and home, and a good dose of humor with me.
