About this sitter

I grew up on the East Coast before moving to the West Coast, where I practiced law in the Seattle/Everett area. I have a remote job doing legal work, so I can be available during the day if needed.

I grew up around dogs, and I've cared for my own dogs and also watched friends' dogs in the past. I haven't had a cat of my own, but they have always warmed up to me.

I'm relatively new to this site, but I have been pet sitting through Housesittersamerica.com and have cared for anywhere from one to four dogs at a time. My sits have also included some amount of plant care, from a few indoor houseplants to dozens of outdoor potted plants. I will care for your pets as if they were my own, tend to your plants, retrieve the mail, and whatever else you need done while you're away.
I prefer longer sits (more than a week), but I'm open to shorter sits, depending on the location.

What can they bring to the assignment

All the pets I've cared for in my house sits have warmed up to me, most of them right off the bat.
I can follow instructions, whether it's a one-page cheat sheet or a detailed laminated binder (I've had one of those).
I've also tended to a variety of plants in my prior house sits, from a few basic houseplants to dozens of outdoor plants.
I always leave the owners' homes in the same condition they were in when I arrived.
