I take cleanliness and tidiness seriously, pay close attention to details, and am naturally handy — so small things that come up around the house don’t faze me. Above all, I’m caring and loving, especially when it comes to pets, and I’m great at following homeowners’ instructions to the letter. You can expect your home and animals to be in relaxed, capable hands.

I’m drawn to relaxed, low-key sits where I can settle in and feel at home. I do my best work when given basic guidelines and trusted to use good judgment, I’m independent and self-sufficient, so homeowners can feel confident leaving things in my hands without needing to over-coordinate. I keep an active lifestyle and may be out during the day, though I’m always attentive to any care needs before heading out and after returning. I’m a light sleeper and find I give pets the most consistent care when they have their own sleep space, which also means no disrupted nights for them either!

While I’m relatively new to formal housesitting, I’m no stranger to caring for animals and homes. I recently helped a friend with a four-day sit caring for two dogs, and I’ve had my own pets and understand the responsibility that comes with them. What I may lack in housesitting experience, I make up for in genuine care, reliability, and attentiveness. I’ve owned my own homes since 2011 and have not only cared for them, but have also done a lot of remodel work, so I understand how things work.
Having had my own pets and helped care for others, I understand that animals thrive on routine and attentiveness, and I take that seriously. I’m honest about being newer to formal housesitting, but I think that works in homeowners’ favor.
