I am a mature, responsible, and dependable house and pet sitter with a lifelong passion for both animals and travel. My approach to pet sitting is simple: your pets are my priority. While I enjoy exploring new places, my primary reason for being there is to ensure your pets receive the care, attention, companionship, and routine they need while you are away.

I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs of all sizes, cats, rabbits, birds, chickens, and even a pot-bellied pig. Whether your pets are energetic and playful or senior animals who require a gentler approach, I strive to provide care that is tailored to their individual needs and personalities.

Prior to house and pet sitting, I spent 16 years working for the provincial government in a position that required a clean criminal record and child welfare clearance. Trust, reliability, and professionalism were essential parts of my career, and I bring those same qualities to every house sit.

I am 49 years old and am looking for house sits where I can provide attentive pet care while experiencing new places and communities. I particularly enjoy sits where pets are considered part of the family, as I understand how important it is for them to feel loved, secure, and comfortable in their owners' absence.

I also frequently travel with my mother, who is a fellow animal lover and enjoys providing pets with extra affection, companionship, and attention. She is my best friend and regular travel companion, and she is the person who instilled in me many of the values that I bring to every house and pet sit: kindness, responsibility, honesty, respect for others' homes, and a genuine love of animals.

I am fortunate to have a flexible remote job, For pets who are accustomed to having company, this can make a big difference in helping them feel comfortable and secure while you're away. It also allows me to easily accommodate walks, feeding schedules, medications, and plenty of playtime, cuddles, and companionship throughout the day. Because I work remotely on a flexible schedule, I am able to spend a good portion of my day at the property while still earning an income. This ensures your home remains occupied, monitored, and well cared for throughout the sit.

I am primarily seeking longer-term house and pet sits of one month or more. Longer stays allow pets more time to become comfortable with me and help create a stable, consistent routine while their owners are away. I also enjoy having the opportunity to get to know and experience the local area at a more relaxed pace.

I make every effort to maintain the routines, comforts, and special rituals they are accustomed to, whether that's playing with a favorite toy, snuggling with a beloved blanket, enjoying cuddle time in a particular spot, or following a specific feeding and exercise schedule. My priority is to ensure your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and secure throughout your absence.

For me, house and pet sitting is about much more than having a place to stay while traveling—it's about providing peace of mind to homeowners and giving pets the attentive care and companionship they deserve.

Absolutely! I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, and even a pot-bellied pig. I have also personally owned dogs, cats, rabbits, and a pet pigeon. Caring for animals is something I am truly passionate about, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away.

I am experienced in administering medications and supplements to both cats and dogs, as well as providing subcutaneous fluids when needed. Additionally, I have spent the past two years fostering cats and dogs through a rescue and adoption agency. While saying goodbye when they find their forever homes can be bittersweet, it is incredibly rewarding to provide them with love, care, and stability during their transition.

When it comes to home care, I bring a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. My family owned and operated a cleaning and property management business for many years, where I gained experience caring for residential properties as well as commercial spaces ranging from banks to museums. I also spent several years working for the provincial government, where clear communication and reliability were essential parts of my role.

As a house and pet sitter, you can expect regular updates as frequently as you would like, along with prompt communication should any issues arise.
