Dietlind, 67, is looking for a house sitting assignment in Europe.
Why they want to house sit
I am an independant Single, Non Smoking, Non Drinking. I live in a wooden wagon placed in the rural settlement outside from Billerbeck NRW. In exchange for this site I help take care of all the animals, 1 dog, 2 sheep, 4 goats, 1 cat, 3 chicken ( soon many more). I take long walks with Paula the dog ( she has recently got 11 puppies), work in the gardens or whatever is necessary. But as lovely as it is in summer time as harsh can it be in wintertime. House sitting in winter where it is warmer than here seems perfect to me because I know I can make myself feel at home anywhere where there is nature around and animals. In this way I don't have to give up my wooden wagon/ vintage caravan which I love. And once in a while I like a change of scenery too.
Their experience
I have been house sitting with 2 cats for my brother during his summer vacation and for my sister (1cat). They can be contacted for references if you wish. Also you could contact the owners ( a couple) of this place where I live to inquire my trustworthiness.
I could also provide a Police background check.
What can they bring to the assignment
I love animals and they love me. The chickens and Paula (dog) always want to enter my wagon and live with me( I don't allow that).
And I have been gardening all my life, even now I still do small gardening jobs with pruning, planting, weeding, etc. and also here at the place is always a lot to do to keep it neat.
I am a calm and peaceful person, I love to meditate, I still teach Yoga (no more groups but for a private person). I love the nature and walks in the forest.

Not only a wonderful catsitter but also a perfect gardener
Dietlind was not only a wonderful catsitter, who knows how to care for animals and to win their trust, but als a fantastic gardener. When I came home from my holiday I found a relaxed cat and my garden very well maintained and tidy: usually when I come home after the summer I have to work terribly hard, but this time everything was tiptop , even the hedge was trimmed ! Of course she also left the house itself tiptop. Our communication was very good, she sent foto’s of Messi which put me at essen. I can recommend Dietlind from the bottom of my heart as pet and house sitter ! Thank you 1000x Dietlind !
