About this sitter

Hi, I am Ruzica but you can call me Rose. My native name means little Rose :).

I am a freelance consultant and art director. I am pretty flexible in my work, but move around and travel often.

My beloved Alusky Rea passed away in 2023. She has been my best friend for 10 years. Ever since I lost her, I have been contemplating to get another pet, but due to the nature of my work, it's hard to make that decision.

I want to combine periods of remote work with travel and pet-sitting. I'd love to give your pet lots of love and simultaneously myself structure, and exposure to animals.

Since I am a remote worker, I would spend plenty time in your home with your pet.

I am clean and tidy, and value order. I would maintain your home while you are away.

Open communication is important to me, prior and during my stay. I would love us to meet via video before the sitting.

Why they want to house sit

I was a dog owner for 10 years throughout my twenties. My beloved Alusky Rea is no longer with me. She was my best friend, and a companion. Whenever possible, she went everywhere with me; work, socializing, friends' places, holidays.

I currently work as a freelancer and travel/move often. Due to the nature of my work, it's difficult to get a new pet.

I would love to combine travel/work and my love for animals.

Their experience

I was a single-dog owner for 10 years. I am experienced in (big) dog walking, basic training, administering medication, taking dog to the vet, bathing and double-fur grooming.

I also have experience with cat sitting as many of my friends and family have house cats. Changing the litter box is a no-brainer, as well as feeding. I even have experience walking cats (like a Maine Coon.) Vet visits are not strange to me either.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a responsible animal lover. I will care for your animal responsibly, making sure it get all needs met, including emotional needs, as well as enough mental stimulation.

I am a tidy, clean person. Your home will be in good hands.
