About this sitter

Hello friendly pet owner! My names Skylar, I’m currently living in Australia and looking to come and explore Europe and the UK whilst taking care of a variety of animals (July-November).

Im currently on break from my University studies to become a midwife and thought why not do what I love most… look after some pets! In my free time I read and watch movies but if I’m not doing that I’ll be trying out new cafes with my friends.

Why they want to house sit

I’ve never felt more fulfilled than when im pet sitting. Having the opportunity to look after all different types of pets makes me so happy and I love the companionship! Pet sitting also provides me with the chance to explore, meet new people and experience the culture of new places from the perspective of a local rather than a tourist.

Their experience

I have 2 cats that are quite old (15 and 13) that I’ve looked after their whole lives, they are my babies. Additionally, I’ve done pet sitting for friends and family over the years who’ve passed my name onto locals who I’ve also sat for. They’d be happy to provide references. Currently I’m helping my grandparents look after their cavoodle puppy (12 weeks old) and am constantly taking care of my families dog when I go and visit in New Zealand. We’ve also had people take care of my cats while my family and I were away so I can understand all your concerns!

What can they bring to the assignment

I’m an honest, reliable and clean person who is completely transparent. I’ll look after your house and pets like they are my own. I am a non-smoker and will be able to complete some work from my laptop while travelling so am quite flexible. My communication is also 10/10 so you will feel comfortable in the care that your furry friend is getting.
