Hello!

We are a small animal-loving family from Germany: Alexander (40), Giovanna (47), and our son Leon (7).

We have visited the United States several times over the years because we truly love the country, its people, and its beautiful landscapes. Every trip has left us wanting to experience more of everyday American life, not as tourists staying in hotels, but as part of a local community.

That is exactly why house sitting appealed to us so much.

Why they want to house sit

For us, it is not simply a place to stay. It is an opportunity to experience a destination in a meaningful and authentic way while providing loving care for someone's home and beloved pets.

Animals are a very important part of our family life. At home, we share our lives with a cat, a German Shepherd, and a pet bird. Caring for animals is part of our daily routine and something we genuinely enjoy.

If you entrust us with your pets, we will care for them as if they were our own family members. We understand how important routines, affection, exercise, and companionship are for animals, especially when their owners are away.

We are not the type of people who leave pets at home while spending the entire day sightseeing. Whenever appropriate, we enjoy including animals in our daily activities, walks, and adventures. We believe pets deserve attention, company, and plenty of love.

As a family, we are responsible, respectful, reliable, non-smokers, and lifelong animal lovers. We are also vegetarians and value kindness, compassion, honesty, and open communication.

Whenever we travel, our own pets stay with family members they know and trust. Fortunately, Leon's grandparents care for them, and because our pets know them well, they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. This gives us complete peace of mind while we are away, and it also helps us understand how important it is for pet owners to feel that same reassurance.

We are also very flexible and easy-going when it comes to accommodations. We do not require multiple bedrooms or a large house. We are perfectly happy sharing a guest room together, and Leon is comfortable sleeping in the same room as us. Our priority is not luxury, but the opportunity to care for your pets, respect your home, and enjoy a genuine cultural experience.

We would be truly honored to care for your home and pets. Our goal is simple: to provide you with complete peace of mind, knowing that your home is respected and your animals are receiving the same love and attention that we give our own.

One small request: because we travel internationally from Europe, arranging flights and travel plans requires significant preparation and financial commitment. Therefore, once a house sit is confirmed, we kindly ask that the commitment remains firm whenever possible.
