About this sitter

Hi there! I am Alex (47), a single mom to my wonderful boy, Manuel, who is 5 (almost 6). After a long break, we are so ready to start traveling and exploring the world together! But for us, a house is just a building unless there are furry (or feathered!) friends waiting to welcome us at the door. We simply cannot feel at home without the presence of animals! As a single mother, the most important value I have passed down to Manuel is a deep respect for everything around us—nature, plants, people, other people’s homes, and especially animals. I take my role as a guest extremely seriously and approach every home and pet with the utmost care, maturity, and responsibility. You can rest assured that your space and your beloved companions will be treated with absolute reverence. While Manuel is still a little boy, he is incredibly sweet and already acts like a protective "little man of the house." He has grown up surrounded by animals and has learned to be gentle, patient, and deeply affectionate with them. At the same time, he is a joyful, energetic playmate who is always ready for a game of fetch or a good cuddle session. Together, we bring the perfect balance of mature, reliable care and joyful, loving energy to your home. We can't wait to give your pets all the love they deserve while you are away!

Why they want to house sit

We want to do pet sitting because, for us, a single day of life without being surrounded by animals just doesn't feel complete. A vacation wouldn’t truly feel like a vacation without them, and a house is never a real home unless there are paws waiting to welcome you at the door with unconditional love and endless affection;-)

Their experience

I have a lifetime of experience with animals, as they have been a part of my family since the day I was born. Additionally, in the 10 years before Manuel was born, I traveled extensively and did numerous home and pet exchanges through other platforms. During that time, I cared for all kinds of pets, including those requiring medical treatments and specific therapies—which for me has always been a true joy, never a chore.
