About this sitter

Solo female traveler. I am an avid traveler who works remotely in food, wine, and hospitality. I am also a sommelier and writer. I love visiting new places, meeting new faces, and turning furry friends into my new besties. Between owning my home and my own business for over 15 years, I am responsible and attentive to detail. I am very outgoing and self-sufficient. Can make new friends anywhere I go, but also completely comfortable enjoying my own company at home and out and about!

Why they want to house sit

I prefer to stay in real homes when I’m traveling as opposed to hotels. While I am the first to want to explore local cuisine and ingredients, I also love to cook and have quiet space to work and chill and feel comfortable staying in and relaxing as opposed to being out every night. I’ve been an animal lover since birth so getting to take care of and snuggle new lovies is the greatest perk of all time! I have always considered my animals my children and I will treat yours the same way!

Their experience

I have spent decades as a pet owner and homeowner. I regularly house and pet sit for friends and family. I have had both dogs and cats so I am comfortable with both. I am respectful of other people‘s property and value the importance of the sanctity of your own home.

What can they bring to the assignment

Since I do most of my work online, I am very available on my phone/computer for any check-in or information as you’re away. I love animals and plants and just immersing myself into new cities, countries, and ways of life. I am trustworthy, reliable, and very independent. I love learning new things and experiencing new people, places, and cultures.
