About this sitter
I love being outside and staying busy. I am retired after a successful career in business and as a senior professor, having received my PhD in my 20's. I have always traveled extensively and enjoy being in one place to really learn the rhythm and nuance of a place. I have been to 150-ish countries-I keep meaning to count-and have lived/worked in about 8 countries.
Why they want to house sit
I enjoy the ability, after traveling extensively for many years, to feel more like I am 'living' somewhere, and not just passing through as a tourist.
Their experience
Yes! I have helped on farms, with gardening and upkeep, and general household care-taking.
What can they bring to the assignment
I bring a strong work ethic and a very fit and capable energy level. My belief is you should always leave a place better than you found it - doing what needs to be done and creating peace-of-mind for the owners while they are away. I communicate well, follow directions always, display a positive attitude in all things and never forget I am a fortunate guest in someone's home.
