About this sitter

I am a calm, empathetic, and organized single mother who works from home in counseling. My profession requires a high level of integrity, a peaceful demeanor, and excellent communication skills, which are all traits that define how I manage my life and care for others' homes.

We are looking for peaceful homes where we can enjoy a refreshing change of scenery while providing top-tier care. Because I work from home and have a toddler, a reliable Wi-Fi connection and a safe, secure environment are essential for us.

In terms of pets, we are looking to care for animals that are comfortable and safe around a young, gentle child.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting offers a beautiful, meaningful way for my daughter and me to experience new environments while filling a very special, animal-shaped void in our lives.

After losing our beloved dog of 15 years shortly after my daughter was born, our home has felt incredibly quiet. While the grief of that loss means we aren't ready to adopt a permanent pet of our own right now, we miss the daily joy, comfort, and routine of animal companionship immensely.

House sitting allows us to channel all that poured-out love into caring for your pets, giving them our full attention while you are away.

Furthermore, as a single mother working remotely in counselling, house sitting provides a wonderful opportunity for a gentle change of scenery without interrupting my work or my daughter’s routine. It also allows me to raise my daughter around animals, teaching her firsthand how to care for, respect, and love different pets.

Their experience

We do not have formal house sitting experience, however for a wonderful decade and a half, I took care of my Morkie (Maltese-Yorkie mix), navigating everything from puppy training to senior dog care, specialized diets, and administering medications.
Currently, my daughter and I regularly dog-sit a Chihuahua for the same family (who may be able to give a recommendation upon request, but not in English as they are French speakers).

Because I work from home in counselling, your pets will rarely be left alone. I bring a stable, consistent routine where your animals get constant attention!

My background in counselling means I am naturally calm, observant, highly communicative, and reliable under pressure. I bring absolute respect for your privacy and will send you regular, heartwarming photo and text updates so you can truly relax on your trip.

I can also assure you that you will walk through your door to a home that is just as sparkling clean, fresh, and welcoming as you left it.

And of course, my 2-year-old daughter brings a gentle, joyful energy that pets adore. We bring an animal-loving dynamic that ensures your pets won't just be looked after, they will be truly cherished while you are away.
