Hi! :) My name is Baska, and I am a Humanistics student from Utrecht, the Netherlands.
My studies focus a lot on people, relationships, and understanding different perspectives, which has made me curious about the world and passionate about connecting with others. I also love nature and discovering new places.
Before continuing my studies, I took a gap year during which I traveled extensively and worked overseas. Those experiences strengthened my independence, adaptability, and love for exploring different cultures. I hope to continue combining travel with my studies whenever possible.
I enjoy meeting new people and spending time outdoors. I also love music and appreciate the opportunity to experience daily life in different communities and countries.
In the past, I volunteered at a community vegetable garden. Through that experience, I got to know the owners well and occasionally looked after their home and cats while they were away. I really enjoyed the responsibility and the trust they placed in me, which is why I would love to do more house and pet sitting abroad.
I am responsible, respectful, and caring, and I understand how important it is to know that your home and pets are in good hands while you are away. I would be delighted to care for your home, plants, and animals and give them the attention they deserve.
