Hello, I’m Sian, a writer, content creator, and business owner from the UK, currently planning a slower way of life for a few years. I have a small microcamper which I converted myself.

I am travelling in the UK until September 17th, when I will cross to France and drive up towards Morocco.

Why they want to house sit

House sitting feels like a natural fit because I enjoy a home setting and everyday life in a local area rather than a holiday destination. It feels like a great way to experience areas that I wouldn't otherwise get to. I am naturally respectful and tidy, so your home would be in good hands.

Their experience

I have been enjoying house sits with another group. I have had dogs most of my life, but as I travel a lot now, it's not practical. Reviews indicate that my house owners are instantly comfortable with me, enabling them to relax while they are away.

What can they bring to the assignment

I’ve reached a stage in life where I value calm spaces, meaningful experiences, good conversation, long walks, and living more intentionally.

My work is computer-based, so I will spend a good amount of time in the house. Outside of work, I enjoy photography, reading, hiking, writing, cafés, markets, and exploring places slowly. I’m equally happy in the countryside, coastal towns, or quieter residential areas. Pretty much everything I do would accommodate taking a dog with me. I don't tend to go out at night as I don't drink. I also don't smoke. I have a routine for my food and will bring everything I need.

This next chapter for me is about combining work, travel, creativity, and a different pace of life. House sitting feels like a lovely way to do that while helping homeowners feel confident that their home is being genuinely cared for while they’re away.
