My name is Amanda, I’m 66 and a semi-retired Private Carer for the elderly in their own homes.


My husband, who would be accompanying me, is Mike, he is 73 and is a retired Chartered Accountant.

We have more time on our hands for travel these days and we are happy to consider anywhere in the world. House sitting may bring up opportunities to see more of the world than we would have thought of ourselves.

Why they want to house sit

We are both cat lovers and whilst we don’t have any pets of our own at present, we really enjoy housesitting for our son’s cat Luna, whilst he is abroad on photography assignments.
House sitting is an opportunity to experience local life and cultures often away from the usual tourist places .

We are no smokers and we will be renting a car.
