Hi there, my name's Will and I'm an educator and workshop facilitator with a background in theatre. I work a lot in schools and other settings with young people and coaching young men, helping them to improve their wellbeing and purpose. I lead a healthy lifestyle and have a passion for martial arts, yoga and nature. I'm looking to see beautiful new places, preferably in nature, where I can relax, enjoy some fantastic walks and finish my PhD.

Why they want to house sit

I want to combine a love for animals, nature, travel and quiet study. I am currently in the finishing stages of my PhD (a year left) and so am looking for places where I can relax and focus. I. have been living in London for a long time but it is getting too expensive and there is more to see in the world! Combining nature, study and sitting is the perfect scenario for me! Cats and dogs are great study buddies - they have great energy, they help me concentrate and also provide some welcome and fun distraction!

Their experience

Yes. I love all animals and have cared for cats and dogs throughout my life. I enjoy the outdoor life with dogs as well as the laid-back independence of cats' lifestyle! This has included animals of different ages and needs, including giving them specialist food (such as renal food) and following strict dietary guidelines. I have taken both cats and dogs to the vet, as well as administered medicine at home. I have also stayed in many friends and family's homes, including long sits/maintenance work as well as holiday and tenancy rentals. I always treat properties as my own - with utmost care and respect. I'm a pretty good fixer if things need repairing and excellent cleaner, so your place will be left spotless on your return.

What can they bring to the assignment

I am a reliable and dedicated person, very caring with pets and respectful with people's properties. As mentioned above, I am very good with maintenance and cleaning, as well as extra pet care such as vet visits and medication. I have a love for world cultures and languages. I've lived in Spain for 10 years and speak fluent Spanish.
