About this sitter

We are a friendly, reliable and caring couple who enjoy a quieter pace of life. We love countryside walks, hiking, discovering new places and spending time by the water whenever we can.

With Arthur retired and me working remotely as a freelance Talent Acquisition Manager, we have the flexibility to travel while giving homes and pets the time and attention they deserve.

Why they want to house sit

We're looking for house sits where we can genuinely make a difference by giving homeowners complete peace of mind. Whether it's caring for much-loved pets, keeping a home secure or tending to a garden, we'll treat everything with the same care and respect we would our own.

Their experience

Yes. Although we're relatively new to house sitting through dedicated platforms, we've spent many years caring for our own home and pets, as well as looking after the homes and animals of family and friends.

We shared almost 13 wonderful years with our beloved Cavachon, Pippa, who was very much part of our family. Since then, we've regularly cared for our grand-puppy, Alfie, and recently spent a month looking after Arthur's sister's home and her dog, Lola, while she was away.

We're experienced in following pets' established routines, including feeding, walking, playtime and providing plenty of companionship. We also understand the importance of keeping a home clean, secure and well maintained, and we're happy to look after gardens and indoor plants too.

While we're new to house-sitting websites, we're certainly not new to the responsibility and commitment that comes with caring for someone's home and much-loved pets. We know trust is earned, and we're committed to providing the same high level of care we'd want for our own home and family.

What can they bring to the assignment

We bring reliability, warmth and genuine care to every house sit. We understand that inviting someone into your home is a big decision, and we never take that trust for granted.

Your pets will receive plenty of love, attention and companionship, and we'll always follow their established routines to help them feel happy and settled while you're away. Where appropriate, we'd be delighted to include them in our daily walks and adventures, ensuring they enjoy both exercise and company.

We'll also look after your home with the utmost respect, keeping it clean, tidy and secure, watering plants and maintaining the garden if needed. As Arthur is retired and I work remotely, there will usually be someone at home for much of the day, which means your pets won't be left alone for long periods.

Communication is important to us, so we'll keep you updated with regular messages and photos, giving you complete peace of mind while you enjoy your time away.

Our goal is simple: to return your home exactly as you left it and for you to come back to happy, relaxed pets who have been loved and well cared for.
