I’m a 28-year-old professional currently spending the summer exploring Europe. I love animals, especially cats, and I grew up with my first cat Pilchard who lived until she was 18 years old. Since then, I’ve rarely lived in a home without a cat, or other animals; Ripple the rabbit, Colin the chameleon and Terrance the tortoise. As someone who lives alone, I am neat, organised and able to take care of personal spaces. House sitting allows me to combine my love for travel and discovering new cities with keeping the company of some cats.

Why they want to house sit

As I travel frequently, I don't have a cat of my own right now and I very much miss the companionship and interaction. Combining house sitting with pet sitting is a win-win: it allows me to explore new cities, meet some new cute animals, all whilst giving homeowners peace of mind that their pets and homes are in safe and loving hands.

I have a lifetime of experience understanding cat behaviour, boundaries, and unique personalities. Beyond growing up with cats, I am the designated house and cat sitter in my siblings’ homes whenever they travel. I have extensive experience from living with playful kittens to senior cats who require a gentle touch, specific routines, or dietary tracking. I know how to read a cat’s body language, when to offer affection and when to give them their space.
