Experienced animal keeper

About this sitter

I am an healthy and active 58-year-old single woman working full-time. I can easily take long, flexible vacations but i would need to make plans at least 3 mounths ahead. I have 3 grown up childreen who I still take care of from time to time ;) .
I am kind and caring towards both animals and people. I enjoy all environments, but I prefer country life and smaller towns.
For the past 20 years, I have worked as a psychiatric nurse and therapist, and I still do. I grew up at the countryside surrounded by different kinds of animals.

Why they want to house sit

I enjoy variety and I look forward to combining my vacation with experiencing a completely new environment. Spending time with animals and at the same time being helpful, that’s a win win. I am used to care for both pets and farm animals. To spend my time with your animals would add something extra special to my holiday.

Their experience

Yes, very. I have a deep, lifelong passion for animals and a broad background in both animal care and equestrian sports. Over the years, I have cared for horses, dogs, cats, birds, and hamsters etc. My practical experience is backed by a 2-year degree in agriculture, which gave me a foundation in farmanimal care. Prior to becoming a registered nurse, I worked for many years as a professional rider and trainer. I hold a 2-year diploma in stable management from Flyinge, the Swedish National Equestrian Centre. My riding days are over so you should not expect me to get back into the saddle ;))
I have also gained valuable clinical experience working as an animal care assistant at Läckeby Animal Hospital for a short while. I am deeply dedicated to the well-being of all animals.
This housesitting i all new to me and I will keep on edit things to my profile.
I have all sorts of referenses of course, but not as a housesitter yet. You will get what I have on demand.

What can they bring to the assignment

Beside taking care of your animals I’m also capable to take good care of plants, gardering and basic propertycare. I am practical and self-reliant. I take pride in keeping things nice and will gladly help maintain your home.
I really enjoy going on lots of long walks every day. So, if you have a dog that needs that, we are a match made in heaven!

I am a trustworthy and lojal as a person who always respects your privacy and personal space.
My english is good but my french is limited.
