About this sitter

Hi, I am Cecilia. I am in my mid 30s and on sabbatical traveling solo, exploring my home country of the USA! I love nature and to travel and walk/hike. I am looking for house-sitting opportunities in Colorado and possibly New Mexico and Texas.

Why they want to house sit

I am a cat lover first and foremost, but I've fostered many dogs and helped them find their forever homes. I lost my own cat of 10 years to cancer and am now a nomad. I'm looking forward to sharing some love with furry friends while I travel and will ensure the pets are well taken care of while their family is away.

Their experience

Garden care - my highschool/college job was at a nursery - I wouldn't say I am a natural but with instructions, I'll ensure plants are well taken care of
Pet care - while I had my own 2 cats I fostered countless dogs and cats through a non-profit rescue in TX
House sitting - no recent formal experience, but I have owned several homes (my own and rentals) over the years and take home care seriously.
Professional experience - I have had a great 10+ year career after college doing office and field work, but I have also done various volunteer work at home and while traveling. I am a hard worker despite currently enjoying a sabbatical!

What can they bring to the assignment

I am responsible and value communication. I hope I can continue to travel and house sit for the long term future. I am motivated to ensure the people I sit for will recommend me to others. I will also treat pets as if they're the ones writing the review based on their fabulous care lol - no extra treat bribes though! I value integrity! In all seriousness, I understand the risk people take in bringing in a home/pet sitter, and I want to ensure I do everything I can to make the stay smooth and successful for all involved.
