Hello! I’m Stefanie. I’m a writer, ritual artist, and end-of-life practitioner with a lifelong love of animals and a deep appreciation for the quiet rhythms of home. Caring for others—whether people or pets—has been at the heart of my work for many years, and I bring that same presence, attentiveness, and respect into every home I care for.

I’m relocating to northern New Mexico and using house sitting as a thoughtful way to become part of the Santa Fe community before settling permanently. I’m looking for opportunities where I can be a respectful temporary steward of someone’s home while they travel with peace of mind. I love exploring a place slowly by walking neighborhoods, spending time in nature, supporting local businesses, and caring for animals as though they were my own.

Yes. While I’m new to house-sitting platforms, I’m not new to caring for homes, animals, gardens, and the people who love them. I’ve spent years caring for dogs, cats, senior pets, plants, and homes for friends, family, and clients, and my professional work as an end-of-life practitioner has taught me the importance of reliability, clear communication, respect, and being fully present.

I understand that every home has its own rhythms and every animal has its own personality. I enjoy learning their routines so they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away.
