Why they want to house sit

It is a huge responsibility to care for another’s person’s home and much loved pets. However its a joy to get to know the pets, the owners, and the places they live.

Their experience

Having had furred, feathered, and finned pets all my life along with being a home owner for decades I am fully aware of the responsibilities that come with not only caring for cherished pets and property but also choosing someone to do that.

Thru a platform (no longer use due to cost) I received a regular repeat sit and the pleasure of caring for a home overseas for about 4 months.

-When The our little dog Patsy succumbed to old age it provided the opportunity to travel.
-Before that was T-Rex (Chesapeake Bay Retriever) who shared his big heart and taught us to be patient with this uniquely determined breed.
-There was a year long commitment to honor a friend's request to care for her two horses.
-Our singing talking parakeet.
-Two county fair prize gold fish that lived for almost a decade!
-And last but not least Fluffy the tarantula that brought both fascination and horror to guests.
