Greetings. I'm a cheerful, responsible, and semi-retired professional providing TLC for your pets, place, and plants as if they were my own. I look for places and sits that feel peaceful and comfortable with caring owners. I grew up moving constantly and have lived all over the country but still enjoy discovering new places and meeting new people and their loving family members.

While my primary goal is to ensure that your beloved 4-legged and other family members are well taken care of while you're gone, I am also committed to making your home feel lived in and loved during your absence so that you have peace of mind.

I'm also happy to do 'meet and greets' beforehand if home owners are currently close to the Tampa Bay area in Florida. Thank you.

Why they want to house sit

I've often sat for family, friends, and clients over the years being a lifelong animal lover. And since I'm usually working on books and writing projects, I enjoy having the peace and quiet while being able to snuggle with furry friends whenever possible. I also like meeting new people and having new locations to explore.

Many years ago, I had a large beautiful German Shepherd for 14 years and since I had to travel for business at times, I had to hire a 'pet nanny'. Therefore, I understand how important it is to find someone who is truly going to give loving attention to your animal(s) so that you can be worry-free while you're away.

1) I had no worries in 2024 when KN was doing a 6-month housesit, even with the 3 hurricanes that were causing havoc in FL. I knew she could handle whatever was needed pre and post the storms. She is very dependable and reliable and knew who to call about debris which had blocked the front entrance, bushes, shrubberies, and how to handle the power losses, etc. You can rest assured your place and pets will be safe and well taken care by KN.

2) To Whom It May Concern:
We are very pleased to give this recommendation for KN. We met her more than 20 years ago through a house and pet-sitting site when we lived in the DC area and needed someone to watch our home and cat while we were out of town.

There was some apprehension, as there always is for us when we have someone new to meet who will then be staying in our home during our absence. But, once we met her, we no longer had any concerns.

She is a very warm and kind person who immediately put us at ease about who would be caring for our kitty and our home.
When we returned from our travels, our home was just as we had left it and we felt that she had absolutely respected our space and our privacy and she had certainly bonded with our frequently aloof kitty who followed her around from room to room just to be close to her.
Since that time, she has house-sat for us many times and we are always comfortable knowing that everything is being left in capable hands.

Some of our travels have been to other countries where we could not always be in close contact with her but we had not a worry about the condition of our house or our kitty. We know that she has and can capably handle any issues that come up.

4) If you are looking for a house/pet sitter that will give you peace of mind, look no further – KN is that sitter. I had the good fortune of having KN respond to my last minute posting for a two and a half week house sit with two cats, and she was manna from heaven.

When we spoke by phone, she told me about her background and experience, I felt an immediate connection. I knew she would be perfect, and she was! KN came to my house for our meet and greet the day before I was scheduled to leave. When she arrived, my cats - including the extremely shy one - greeted her, and it was clear by their interactions that they were going to be in very capable and loving hands.

During my absence, she maintained communication with photos and updates, and asked questions to clarify any home issues or pet needs. I felt very comfortable that she was taking wonderful care of my home and especially my fur babies. Indeed, when I returned from my trip, my home was spotless (yes, I do mean spotless) and my cats were obviously well cared for as well. I would love to have her return for future sits and hope she will. If KN is available for your sit, consider her your manna from heaven and book her immediately.
