Hi ! We’re Karen and Kevin. We are a travel-loving, retired couple who find joy in discovering new neighborhoods and helping fellow pet lovers travel with total peace of mind.

Why they want to house sit

One of the things that drew us to house and pet sitting is that it lets us combine two things we love: caring for animals and exploring new places. We’ve always felt that travel is more meaningful when you’re grounded in a home and a local rhythm—and getting to do that while spending time with pets just makes it better. It also allows us to travel in a more thoughtful, sustainable way, which really matters to us. We’re not just passing through—we’re here to care, connect, and contribute.

Their experience

While we are new to the MindMyHouse platform, we bring a lifetime of experience caring for homes and animals. For the past year we've been on a different platform with many successful sits.
Our Pet Background-
We both grew up with animals—from cats and rabbits to family dogs. For the last 10 years, our hearts belonged to our sweet Poodle-Bichon rescue. We adopted him at age six, and he taught us everything about patience, senior pet care, and the deep bond that comes from welcoming a rescue into your life. Though he has since passed, we carry those lessons with us and treat every pet we sit for with the same attentive, "family-first" care. We have extensive experience house-sitting for friends and neighbors and are comfortable with the unique needs of older pets.
