Full time cat and house sitter

About this sitter

I am a 62 year old, full time cat sitter. I have a passion for travel, sunshine and experiencing new cultures and places. Most of all though, I live meeting furry friends along the way!
I have been surrounded by animals my whole life, growing up with 3 dogs and many much-loved cats over the years. Ive completed multiple cat sits for both indoor and outdoor cats as well as rescue cats, so I understand that every cat has their own personality, routine and little quirks!
Whether your cat is playful and social or prefers a quieter companion, I am always happy to adapt and make sure they feel safe., relaxed and well cared for while you are away.
I also love gardening and will keep all plants watered. I will collect mail and parcels and put out the garbage on required days.

Why they want to house sit

After being made redundant, it seemed like the perfect opportunity to do what truly makes me happy, which is spending time caring for cats. That is why I have decided to cat sit full-time. I genuinely love getting to know each cat's little personality, earning their trust, and making sure they feel happy and settled while their wonderful owners are away.
Cat sitting combines so many things I love; travel, meeting new people and experiencing new places, and of course spending time with the cats!
Cat sitting feels like the perfect fit for this stage of my life.

Their experience

I have four years experience in sitting for all cats.
My experienc includes both live in pet sits and drop in visits, caring for indoor and outdoor cats, fewding, litter tray cleaning, playtime and companionship.
I am DBS checked, insured and have references.
I am a non smoker/drinker.

I will provide a loving and peaceful environment for your cats. I always take time to learn each pets habits so they feel comfortable.
I happily provide regular updates, photos and videos so that you can relax knowing that they are happy and content.
Alongside pet care, I am very respectful of the homes I stay in and am happy to help with general tasks such as watering plants, bringing in post and maintaining a clean, secure and well looked after home.
