About this sitter

I genuinely love to care for a home, a garden, and for animals. I adore nature, greenery, all pets and animals, and love creating a beautiful atmosphere in a home. An easy, open communication and quick practical solutions of things that may occur around the house is important to me and I have a lot of experience in hands on solving, especially in remote places. I appreciate cleanliness a lot and will tend to your home with detailed care. I am used to caring for older, or more traumatised pets as well and I am very patient.

Absolute quiet and rural living is essential to me. I am only interested in the countryside, and calm, or remote places. Driving is not a problem to me and I have my own (non 4x4) car.

I studied Industrial design and worked as a decorator for 20 years.
I can be quite a hermit and I never feel alone or bored. I do love to cuddle with pets, and having a friendly chat with locals.
My days are spent quietly. I enjoy gardening, reading, writing (I write poetry and essays), embroidering, artworks, morning coffees, evening strolls, self care, learning languages, working online, and meditation.

I am looking for a new place to live and settle in Europe, House sitting will be a wonderful way to discover new areas.

I have done several house sits in the past, that were always wonderful experiences, some lead to lifelong friendships, and a beneficial exchange for both.
I am looking for a new place in rural Europe to settle down long term, and this will give me the opportunity to experience an area in depth and explore where I want to live.

I am very tidy and clean, calm, responsive and responsible.
I had dogs, cats, chickens, and lots of plants of my own. I genuinely like to care for a home, for plants, animals, and people and I am very patient.
I speak several languages, from native to intermediate: Dutch / English / French / Italian / German. I have my own car, and remote areas are very welcome. I am very flexible and communicative and will take excellent care of your belongings.
