Hi! I'm Anne. I'm a divorced mom of 2 boys who just graduated.

I am a podcast manager and focus group recruiter, so I can work from anywhere. I own a house on 2 acres in Columbus, OH, and manage the house and the woods myself. I love using a chainsaw!

I have a cat and sadly had to say goodbye to my 13-year-old lab, Sharpie, in the last year. I've had dogs for 25 years, so I've decided to take a break from owning a dog because I want to travel more.

I occasionally will have one family member with me...my mom or my adult son. Never more than one person! I am more than happy to discuss this with you and can be flexible on the details!

Why they want to house sit

I have one son who has just begun attending West Point and will play football. I have another son who lives here with me. I am looking for houses within 2 hours of West Point to save myself money and allow me the ability to see him play. They won't be full days, I'll be gone... so house-sitting/pet-sitting is the perfect option.

The games are very random, so I decided to just put my fall availability as open. If you have a date that you need filled, try me! Let's see if I can make it work.

Their experience

I have stayed at other people's houses and babysat their children. I have taken care of my neighbors' houses and pets. AND... I've lived a long time in my own home, so I am acutely aware what it takes to keep a household running smoothly.

I clean up after myself and put things back where I find them. I try to go over and above what's expected but I like it when others do it for me!

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm a quick learner. I can mow. I can hug your animals (except for a snake or a pet tarantula). I am aware and smart. I am trustworthy (happy to give a reference) and caring.
