About this sitter

I'm an architect by training, though these days I spend more of my time building brands and experiences than buildings. I've spent close to 30 years bouncing between Europe and Asia for work: cosmetics, sound, design, all sorts.

I don't drink or smoke, I'm a pretty calm person, but put on music and I'll be dancing within a minute.

I've been settled in Spain for 10 years and I'm itching to move again.

What I'm looking for is simple: a home where I can actually live, not just crash... somewhere I can work quietly online, cook, and give a pet the same attention I'd give my own dog Rosco.

Why they want to house sit

Honestly? I miss moving. I built a life in Spain that I love, but ten years in one place is a long time for someone who's always been a bit of a nomad.

House sitting lets me travel without the hotel-hopping; I get to actually live somewhere, I love having new and different life experiences, and a home with an animal in it feels a lot more like home than an empty Airbnb ever will.

Their experience

Mostly with dogs, and it runs in the family.

My sister has her own animal sanctuary — she's saved, looked after and found homes for hundres of dogs (and other animals) over the years, and my own dog Rosco (you can find him on @roscosleepacademy, she found him 10 years ago, wandering on the streets) stays with her whenever I travel.

I grew up around that kind of care (so 50 years of that already).

What can they bring to the assignment

Reliability, mostly.
I run my own business remotely, so Im used to structure and I don't disappear for the day.

I'll treat your home the way I treat my own projects: with attention to detail, because that's just how I'm built as a designer. And your pet gets someone who's genuinely calm around animals, not someone learning on the job.
