Hello, my name is Stéphanie.

Originally from northeastern France, I now live in the southwest of this country after also spending few years in the United States. I run my own business providing cleaning and turnover services for holiday rentals. Before that, I worked in several different fields, including more than ten years as a primary school teacher.

I love nature, hiking and gardening, and I spend much of my free time growing my own vegetables. I also enjoy landscape photography and spending time outdoors.

Why they want to house sit

Animals have always been an important part of my life. And during the quieter winter months, I like to discover new places and cultures. House sitting allows me to combine my love of travel with something I genuinely enjoy: caring for animals and looking after a home while its owners are away.

Their experience

I have completed many pet-sitting assignments, both privately and through dedicated house and pet sitting platforms. For example, I often petsit my friend Isabelle's cats at her home while she is away (see the reference below).

I also volunteered for several years in a cat shelter and for one year in a sanctuary in USA.

I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including cats, dogs, chickens, goats, pigs and horses (farm animals mostly through the wwoof program. I travelled almost 2 whole years like that).

What can they bring to the assignment

I'm a pet lover. It's a real pleasure to spend time with animals and give all the love they need.

It's very important for me to communicate with the owners. I regularly provide updates and send photos and videos. This puts the owners' minds at ease.

I am a calm, responsible and respectful person. When I stay in someone's home, I care for it as if it were my own. I enjoy keeping living spaces clean, tidy and well maintained, and my professional background has taught me to pay close attention to details.

I am a non-smoker, drink alcohol only on rare occasions and live a quiet lifestyle.
