Hello!
I am a Certified Health Coach and former Massage Therapist. I love to explore nature and also enjoy being a homebody. I have many years of house and petting sitting experience, as well as professional experience taking care of a wide array of critters.

I am based out of Asheville, but currently traveling in Florida with my sweet dogs; Vissa and her sister BB. They are five years old, very well socialized, and remarkably calm around the house. I take great care to be excellent house guests, with glowing reviews to prove it!!

My routine is rising early with the sun, taking time to read/meditate/reflect, some gentle movement and getting outside before going into a work flow. I break up my day with cooking and going for walks.

My interests include permaculture, sustainable living, health and wellness, horses, medicinal plants, and adorable coffee shops.

Why they want to house sit

I love exploring new places, and I also love the comforts of home. I prefer a style of travel that is slow and easy, where I can sink into a place for a moment in time.

I have also genuinely enjoyed the people I've met through house sitting. I feel a special connection as I care for their home and keep their pets safe.

Their experience

I have more than 10 years experience caring for peoples pets as a dog walker and house sitter, including some farm stays. I also worked professionally as an animal keeper for 5 years, where I took care of reptiles, birds, farm animals, and exotics. I have a high level of compassion and understanding with creatures of all types, and genuinely enjoy getting to know them as individuals.

I am a 5 star sitter on Rover, and I have completed 18 sits on Trusted House Sitters (also 5 stars).

I am comfortable working with puppies and young dogs who need extra attention, and I have experience working with older pets who have mobility restrictions or medications.

What can they bring to the assignment

I was a foster fail six years ago, and I have since shared my life with pointer/lab mix sisters. We have been living on the road now for almost two years, getting to explore new landscapes and meet new friends.

I've had very positive experiences pet sitting with them, and seeing their ability to jive with different personalities of pets. The dogs we've met benefit from the socialization and extra interactions.

They have lived around both cats and kittens, as well as small dogs.
