Hello, I’m Lisa.

I’m an Australian founder currently living in Italy and exploring different parts of Europe while deciding where I would like to establish my longer-term home base.

For 15 years, I shared my life with my much-loved cat, Toffee. Caring for him shaped my days and made home feel like home. I recently lost him, and I am now looking for opportunities to spend time with animals again—to offer them genuine care and affection, while also finding a gentle way to love through my grief.

I understand that inviting someone into your home and trusting them with your pets is a significant decision. I am mature, reliable, calm and respectful. I work remotely, so I am able to provide pets with consistent company and maintain their usual routines. I am also naturally tidy and would care for your home as carefully as I would my own.

I am comfortable with older animals, medication, particular feeding routines and pets who need patience, reassurance or simply someone nearby. More than anything, I value the trust involved in house sitting and would want you to feel confident that your pets are safe, settled and genuinely cared for while you are away.

I want to house and pet sit because I value the comfort, companionship and sense of home that animals bring.

I recently lost my much-loved cat, Toffee, after 15 years together. Caring for him was a central part of my life, and I am looking for a gentle way to keep giving that care and affection while I move through the grief of losing him.

House and pet sitting also offers me the opportunity to experience different places in a more grounded way while I decide where I would like to establish my longer-term home in Europe. I work remotely, so I can provide pets with consistent company, maintain their routines and care for both them and their home with attention and respect.

Animals have been part of my life from the day I was born, and I have continued to share my home with pets throughout my life.

Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, chickens, ducks and cows, primarily for family and friends rather than through formal house-sitting agencies. Most of my experience has been with dogs, although I have also had cats of my own since 2009.

I am comfortable stepping into an established household, following practical instructions and adapting to the needs of different animals and environments.

I generally prefer urban or village settings, but I am also comfortable in homes on smaller parcels of land.

I am also calm when plans change or something unexpected arises. My aim is to make the assignment easy for the homeowner: their animals remain comfortable, their home remains well cared for, and they can travel knowing everything is being handled responsibly.
