About this sitter

Hey there! We’re Caleb and Abi from New Zealand. We’re both 26 years old and have been married for 3 years. We moved over to the Netherlands in February 2025 to start our overseas experience! Caleb is a structural engineer who also has a strong passion for photography. Abi works in marketing and loves anything crafty. It’s been so fun travelling all over Europe over the past year and a half, but we still haven’t tried house sitting!

Why they want to house sit

We’re looking for an opportunity to have a slower paced holiday where we can also have some animal time. We absolutely adore cats and miss our parents cats dearly (back in New Zealand).

Their experience

Yes! We’ve done house sitting for 1-2 weeks multiple times back in New Zealand. Caleb grew up with 3 cats and a dog (plus chickens, fish, mice and more).

What can they bring to the assignment

We’ll look after your pets as if they are our own. We really love animals and we’ll make sure that they are really loved while you are away from home. We’ll treat your house with respect and make sure it’s kept tidy and safe during the entire stay. We’d both love the opportunity to house sit for you!
