Hi! I’m Laura, originally from Barcelona and currently living there again from last year again. I’ve spent the last 11 years living and working in different parts of the world. I’m an independent, responsible, and calm person who adapts easily to new environments.

I work remotely, which allows me to spend a lot of time at home and maintain a consistent routine. Having moved internationally several times, I’m very comfortable settling into a new place and treating it with the same care and respect as if it were my own.

I’m looking for cat sits where I can provide companionship, stability, and a peaceful environment while their owners are away. I understand how important it is for cats to maintain their routines, and I genuinely enjoy sharing my days with them—whether that’s working from home while they nap nearby or giving them attention and playtime throughout the day.

Why they want to house sit

Cats have always been an important part of my life. I grew up with a cat and have had two others over the years, so sharing a home with them feels completely natural to me.

I love the idea of maintaining my daily routine in a real home—working remotely during the day, enjoying the quiet company of a cat nearby, and adapting to the rhythm of each home while its owners are away. After finishing work, I enjoy going for a walk and discovering the neighborhood before returning home for a quiet evening, accompanied by a lovely cat next to me.

For me, house sitting is about becoming a temporary guardian of someone’s home and beloved pet, making sure both feel cared for, comfortable, and respected until their family returns. After all, let’s not forget whose house it really is—I’m simply the temporary human making him company, =)

I grew up with a cat and have been a cat owner at different stages of my life, so I understand their needs, routines, and personalities.

Over the years, I’ve learned that every cat is different—some are playful and affectionate, while others prefer their space and a calm presence. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, cleaning litter trays, providing companionship, and making sure they feel safe and relaxed while their owners are away.

As a remote worker, I’m also home for much of the day, which means your cat will have company and consistency throughout my stay.
