Hello! My name is Antonella and I am a teacher from Italy. I am a responsible, reliable and caring person who loves animals and enjoys peaceful environments. I have experience looking after dogs and I understand how important it is to respect both pets and the owner’s home. I always keep the house clean and tidy, follow instructions carefully and communicate regularly. I am looking for house sits where I can enjoy spending time with pets while exploring new places and helping homeowners travel with peace of mind.

Why they want to house sit

I love animals and I enjoy discovering new places in a different way. House sitting gives me the opportunity to combine both while helping pet owners feel confident that their pets and home are in safe hands. I believe pets are happiest when they can stay in their own home and maintain their normal routine, and I am happy to provide them with love, attention and companionship while their owners are away.

Their experience

Yes. I worked as a dog sitter in Pavia for a few years while I was studying at university. Over the years, I have also cared for many of my own pets, including chicks, turtles, canaries, parrots, rabbits, dogs, cats and hamsters. I have often looked after the dogs of friends and family while they were away, making sure they were well cared for and happy in their usual environment. I am comfortable caring for most common pets. However, I have no experience with reptiles and I am a little uncomfortable around them, so I prefer not to care for them. I also do not have experience looking after insects.

What can they bring to the assignment

I bring reliability, kindness and genuine care for both pets and the home. I always respect the owner’s routine and carefully follow all instructions regarding feeding, walks, medication and daily care. I keep the house clean, tidy and secure, and I communicate regularly with updates, photos and videos so owners can enjoy their trip with peace of mind. As a teacher, I am organised, responsible and patient, and I treat every home and every pet as if they were my own. I also love cooking—being Italian, preparing delicious meals comes naturally to me! I often cook fresh food for my own pets when appropriate, always following their nutritional needs and any instructions from their owners.
