Very responsible, independent, kind, female(56), looking for the occasional adventure and inspiration through new surroundings. I’m an American living in Umbria, Italy, a dual citizen and love to travel.

Why they want to house sit

As a Professional Decorative Artist, traveling to new places truly fills my creative cup. My work has lent me to work in beautiful homes all over the US and Italy, careful to respect and care while in the homes for extended periods of time. I would enjoy the occasional new experience of exploring new parts of the world while caring for your home/pets. I have a dog(12yrs) of my own which I co-parent with someone in the US. While without my fur baby 6mos of the yr, it’s a great opportunity to seek new opportunities.

In addition to having house sat for family members and family friends and their apts/homes in and around Rhode Island, California, Maryland and Tennessee, while caring for pets too, my work for 30 yrs prepared me for the responsibility of caring for homes on a professional level, gaining the utmost trust from homeowners to work meticulously on my projects and forming personal trusting relationships with my clients/homeowners.
The opportunities and assignments involved all the usual requirements- caring for indoor/outdoor gardens/plants, maintaining the home, forwarding mail and messages, and caring for a household pets -dog(s), guinea pigs, turtles, birds, etc. All survived!
