Bonjour! 

We are a reliable, active retired couple currently living full-time in France (Ariège). Our ultimate goal is to secure a long-term property assignment (6 to 12 months or longer) in Brittany or the Menton/Nice area starting around mid-2027. To build up our platform reviews and references ahead of this move, we are eagerly looking for our first short-term property and pet-sitting assignments starting this September. 

We know how stressful it can be to leave a home and beloved animals behind. We are passionate animal lovers and currently have two cats and four goats of our own, alongside extensive past experience caring for dogs, rabbits, and chickens. Whether your pets need walks, affection, or a steady routine, they will be treated like family. 

We aren't casual tourists; we manage our own older country property with 3,000m² of land, meaning we possess the exact practical skills your estate needs. We are fully experienced in: 

* Large garden maintenance & groundskeeping
* Swimming pool care & water chemistry
* Operating wood-burning stoves and winterizing properties
* Handling DIY repairs and property security

Since we live in France full-time, we are well-accustomed to the local lifestyle. We can communicate comfortably in French to manage local utilities, building syndics, or tradespeople on your behalf. We offer absolute security, meticulous cleanliness, and can provide elite character references and background checks.

We have no experience of house sitting hence looking for our first sits to build references. We do run a gite on airbnb where you can read reviews of us as hosts....search for leloft belesta or contact us and we can send you the link.

What can they bring to the assignment

We are self sufficient in terms of looking after our property, having spent 6 years renovating the old cow barn, installing wood stoves and heating system, doing our own repairs, gardening etc. We know how quirky old buildings can be!
