About this sitter

Retired Dec 2025 after working 38 years as a Respiratory Therapist, mostly in pediatric and cardiac intensive care, primarily in Utah and Southern California (San Diego native). Spent the first 6 months of 2026 traveling outside the USA in SE Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Embracing the nomad lifestyle as I'm fortunate to be financially secure. I’m highly responsible and looking to explore new places, though I’ve been fortunate to have seen a lot of cool things around the world already. The pics here include some of my own dogs and a friends golden retriever who seemed to like me!! Non-smoker, occasional social drinker, and quite active/healthy for being nearly 65 years of age. I've already booked 3 months in Nelson, New Zealand March-June 2027 to do some more biking and hiking trips and enjoy my favorite part of the world.

Why they want to house sit

Not ready to settle down quite yet and I love the idea of exploring new places I may want to settle once my post-retirement nomadic phase is over. I spent a few months in Nelson, New Zealand earlier in 2026 living like a local and loved the experience.

No official house sitting through this website completed, but I have my first assignment in late October 2026 for 3 weeks. I’ve been doing this unofficially for 40+ years. I’ve had multiple long term stays on Airbnb and always leave a place spotless.
