Responsible, flexible and fit remote worker and petsitter

About this sitter

I'm a friendly and responsible remote worker and home owner, resident in Malaga for 16 years, but I grew up in the UK. I work from home as a translator, so can always be on hand to give your pets the attention they deserve.

After petsitting for various friends and family over the years, I decided to join Mindmyhouse to meet new furry friends and have lovely experiences with them while being abel to work remotely.

Why they want to house sit

To get a feel for new places and to enjoy new experiences with pets.

I am experienced looking after family pets originally, then petsitting for friends or family once I got my own place, usually when they went on holiday, and the pet/s would stay with me.

Our original family dog was Casper, a mischievous Lurcher cross, who we'd take out to the field and let roam - he never really quite understood fetch though (more like catch and keep!), while several cats made the house their domain.

Since moving to Malaga, we've looked after Amigo the Chihuahua many times, making sure he gets his eye drops as he's nearly blind in one eye. He loves the local park but isn't a fan of the big local dogs - he usually hides behind our legs for a bit, then we carry on our way. He did learn to fetch with us, which his owner was really pleased about.

Two Boston Terriers stuck to us like glue and provided much hilarity/insanity/strange noises for a week!

What can they bring to the assignment

A calm attitude, lots of attention and presence, plenty of experience in looking after other people's houses as if it were my own. I'm also a keen hiker so very happy to do longer walks.
